Korean coffee chain TheVenti signs master franchise for its Philippine and Southeast Asian debut

South Korean coffee chain TheVenti has signed a master franchise agreement with local food and beverage distributor JJR Brothers Food Corp to enter the Philippines, with its first store set to open in the third quarter of 2026. The company operates more than 1,600 stores in South Korea, built around oversized 20-ounce pours, espresso drinks, Korean grain lattes and fruit teas.

TheVenti had already opened a small number of international locations in Vietnam, Canada and Jordan, but the Philippine deal is its first move into Southeast Asia beyond Vietnam. The company has described the Philippines as its starting point for a broader regional push, with plans to adapt its menu and store formats to local tastes as it builds out the market.

The deal adds TheVenti to a growing list of Asian beverage brands using master franchise structures to expand across the region — a pattern also visible in Vietnamese tea chains entering India and the Philippines, and in Thai and Chinese brands entering Greater China and beyond.
