Franchising & Licensing Asia 2026 relaunches under new organizer, targets 250+ brands and 7,000 attendees in Singapore

Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia) will hold its 21st edition on August 13-15, 2026 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, organizers confirmed on July 30. The show is now run by new organizer MP International and presented by the Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore), a change the organizers are framing as a fresh chapter for the region's longest-running franchise and licensing event.

The 2026 edition is targeting more than 250 international franchise and licensable brands and over 150 exhibitors, with organizers expecting more than 7,000 business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs across three days. Country pavilions will represent Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Vietnam, alongside a dedicated "Hawkerpreneur Zone" built around Singapore's UNESCO-recognized hawker food culture.

At the opening ceremony, the Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) is scheduled to sign memoranda of understanding with Nanyang Polytechnic, the Singapore Retailers Association and the Design Business Chamber Singapore, formalizing training and retail-sector partnerships around franchising and licensing rather than treating the show as a single annual event.

For Southeast Asian brands weighing international expansion, FLAsia's growing footprint — and Vietnam's continued presence among the represented country pavilions — reinforces Singapore's position as a regional deal-sourcing and relationship-building venue for master franchise and licensing partnerships.
