HappiTea opens first stores in India, passing 160 outlets across three countries

HappiTea, the international brand of Go Global portfolio company Phúc Tea, opened its first store in Hyderabad, India in mid-April 2026, with two more following within the same month — a rapid three-store debut led by FranGlobal, HappiTea's national master franchise partner for the Indian market.
The India entry adds to an already fast-moving international footprint. HappiTea now reports more than 160 outlets across Vietnam, the Philippines and India, with over 56 franchise partners globally. The brand first crossed borders into the Philippines, and its stated ambition is to become the leading Vietnamese tea and coffee brand in Asia by 2030.
HappiTea's expansion illustrates the master franchise playbook Go Global champions: rather than self-operating in a distant, complex market, the brand partnered with an experienced local franchise developer to carry site selection, capital and regulatory navigation — while protecting the Vietnamese tea identity at the core of the concept. Conversations are reported to be underway for additional markets across South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
