FIM — Franchise International Malaysia 2022 has returned bigger and better with great participation from the franchise community, not only in Malaysia but around the ASEAN region as well. This was the first big event after Covid and received tremendous responses from all stakeholders.
The event was blessed by the Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs and hugely supported by relevant government agencies of Malaysia. This is not surprising given the franchise industry contributed almost 9% of Malaysia's GDP pre-Covid.
On this occasion, Mdm. Nguyen Phi Van, founder of Go Global Holdings, participated in a panel discussion together with the Chairman of Al Madani Group (UAE) in the keynote panel “We believe in franchising”. Mdm. Phi Van shared how she created the Go Global ecosystem and its unique acceleration program to help startups and SMEs across the world scale successfully via licensing and franchising. The topic attracted great attention, many questions from the crowd, and opportunities for Go Global to expand the acceleration program to both Malaysia and Africa.
